**Labeling of allergens in wines
The regulation was passed on 21/6 and will be released on 30/6 in the DOCE Journal.
Only necessary to label the presence of derivatives of milk and eggs if presence is detected in the final product.
The presence is to be determined based on the requirements and performance criteria of the OIV for ELISA methods that can be employed in the detection of proteins with allergenic potential.
Will apply to wines produced from the 2012 vintage and forwards.
In Spain, the indication of the presence of egg and / or milk must be in Spanish.
Some states will allow English language with the pictogram.
