DUROMETRO para hormigón, PCE
The rebound hardness tester is an easy-to-use device mainly employed in the construction industry and other industrial sectors, based on the rebound principle. The test is always carried out with a constant impact energy of 2.207 J. The initial rebound kinetic energy is displayed by the hardness tester as a measure of the concrete hardness, surface pressure or compressive strength (kg/cm² or its conversion to N/mm²).
Concrete quality is assessed based on its compressive strength, as this provides an indicative value for evaluating load-bearing capacity and durability of concrete structures.
The compressive strength is represented by a combination of numbers and letters. For example: B 25 indicates standard concrete with a compressive strength of 25 N/mm².
There are several intermediate values up to the highest resistance class B 55. With our hardness tester, you can classify concrete easily, quickly and accurately. The device is factory-calibrated, and an optional ISO calibration certificate is available.
