Sulfipaq is potassium metabisulfite of rapid dissolution in wine designed to correct SO2. It dissociates in an acid medium and produces sulfur dioxide.
A correct use of SO2 allows obtaining less oxidized wines, endowed with a better color and aroma, and a lower volatile acidity, due to its effects such as:
Antioxidant: has reducing properties, monopolizing oxygen and preventing oxidation.
Antioxidasic: destroys oxidases avoiding bankruptcies
Antimicrobial: exerts an inhibitory activity on yeasts, lactic bacteria and acetic bacteria.
DOSAGE:
1 envelope provides 5 g of SO2
